Nia Shimi the first producer of Polyethylene anti corrosion tapes for steel pipeline in the Middle East was established in 1990 for providing anti corrosion products for different relative companies. Nia Shimi started its cooperation with Shaic International Company.
In 2002 , with the aim of nationalizing the anti corrosion tape technology in Iran , Nia Shimi under license of Shaic International Company established a 10000 square meters company in Shams Abad industrial with the capacity of producing 5000 ton per year
Now , the different products of Nia Shimi consists of Joint , Inner Wrap, Outer Wrap and relative primers. In 2005 Nia Shimi Company successfully started to produce 3Ply tapes and related Primers. The usage of this tape is for replacing the damaged coating of in service pipelines.

Nia Shimi’s high quality Products were confirmed by RWTÜV association and have ability of performing different tests under ASTM, DIN, EN-DIN creditable Standards
Nia Shimi has exceeded its market to abroad with exporting more than 5000 ton of its products to at least 15 countries including: Iraq, Pakistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, and Italy …
